In our first episode of the season we’re taking a look at the next six months and share some of the books being released by authors we already know and love, and a few from authors whose books we’ve never read. Stay tuned to find out which books we chose!

(17:15) There’s some confusion about whether a book that has just recently come out is a graphic novel or not. Still not 100% sure.
(20:13) We both share our next September pick which is Wayward Son by Rainbow Rowell, and get excited about the sequel to a novel that was meant to be a stand alone.
(24:22) “If it was supposed to be accurate, it would be non-fiction!”
(25:10) One of our favourite series has its final book coming out in November, and that is The Toll by Neal Shusterman, and we are both really looking forward to this book! Scythe and Thunderhead are the first and second, respectively, in this series and they're both excellent and we highly recommend reading them.
(31:55) December is a black hole of nothing. There are many books coming out in December, of course there are, but none that we are super excited about or actually have an opinion or excitement about.
(36:00( While Adam Silvera usually writes YA romance books, in January he’s releasing a book called Infinity Son, which seems to be a lot more fantasy based, and we’re both looking forward to checking this out and seeing what it’s going to be like.
We end the episode with a shout out for a few extra books which are coming out in the next six months that we didn’t fit into our limit of six.
